About Gadi Heimann

Prof. Gadi Heimann is an Associate Professor of International Relations at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Head of its PhD program. His research focuses on diplomacy, alliance politics, and the role of interpersonal relations in international affairs, combining historical depth with innovative theoretical approaches.
Heimann has published extensively in leading academic journals and is the author of several books on international relations, including works on France–Israel relations and Israel’s engagement with Europe, as well as broader studies on decision-making, emotions, and diplomacy in global politics.
